To scan document IDs such as driver’s licenses, you need the Honeywell 1470G scanner. Follow these steps to ensure your scanner is properly set up:
1. Check Your Scanner Model
Verify that your scanner is a Honeywell 1470G.
The model number should be printed on the scanner itself.
2. Program Your Scanner
Your scanner must be programmed using the provided barcode document:
Print the document or try scanning directly from your screen.
3. Scan the Barcodes from the document in Order
Slowly scan the barcodes one by one, in the order they appear.
Wait for a sound confirmation after each scan.
Pause for a few seconds between each scan to allow proper processing.
If the scanner does not work after setup, double-check that you scanned all barcodes correctly and in order. You may also restart the scanner and try again.
