Inventory adjustments can be created automatically through Pavilion activity, such as sales and returns. You can also add manual adjustments when you need to correct quantities, update inventory balances, or reflect physical inventory changes.
ℹ️ Automatic adjustments generated by Pavilion cannot be edited.

Add a manual inventory adjustment
Open the inventory item you want to update.
Go to the Activity tab.
In the Inventory Balances section, click + Adjust.
In the Operation dropdown, select the type of adjustment you want to make.
Review or update the Date and Time.
Enter the Quantity.
Enter the Price for the adjustment.
Search for and select the related Vendor / Customer, if applicable.
Enter a Document / Note, if needed.
If the item uses a multi-quantity pricing model, select the Store and Location where the adjustment should apply.
Click Save.
The adjustment will appear in the item’s inventory balance history.
Filter inventory balances by store
If an item has inventory activity across multiple stores, use the Choose store dropdown to filter the inventory balances by store.
This helps you review adjustments for a specific store location.
Edit a manual inventory adjustment
You can edit manual adjustments after they have been added. Automatic adjustments cannot be edited.
Open the inventory item.
Go to the Activity tab.
In the Inventory Balances section, find the manual adjustment you want to update.
Click the arrow next to the adjustment.
Click Edit.
Update the adjustment information.
Review the edited information for accuracy.
Click Save.
Delete a manual inventory adjustment
You can delete manual adjustments if they were added manually and are eligible to be removed.
Open the inventory item.
Go to the Activity tab.
In the Inventory Balances section, find the manual adjustment you want to delete.
Click the arrow next to the adjustment.
Click Delete.
Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete again.
