By navigating to the inventory item details, locating the certificate section, adding the GIA certificate, and saving the changes, you can ensure accurate and accessible documentation for your inventory items.
Pavilion limits you to adding one main certificate to an item by default. This certificate is used to fetch attribute data and simplify website synchronization. However, you can add as many stones with individual certificates as necessary under the Components tab.
1. Navigate to the inventory item list view. From there, select the inventory item record page to which you want to add the GIA certificate.
2. In the Certificate section, select the GIA certificate issuer.
3. Enter the certificate number into the Certificate Number field. Wait for a few seconds while your certificate is checked for validity in the GIA Laboratory database.
4. If your certificate is valid, a green checkmark will be displayed. After successful validation, you can also populate attributes, image, and title from your GIA certificate. Additionally, you have the option to download the certificate by clicking on the ‘download’ button located near the Populate option.
5. After filling in the certificate details, click on the Save button to save the changes and associate the GIA certificate with the inventory item record in Pavilion.
