1. Using the app navigation, proceed to the Inventory tab.
2. Within the Inventory tab, click on the New button. This will open a new record form where you can provide relevant details for the new Inventory Item.
3. In the new item creation form, select the category of your item based on your product.
The chosen category will configure additional fields and attributes specific to your product type. See Categories Overview.
4. Fill in the name of your product in the Title field.
5. Fill in the attributes related to your product in the Attributes section.
6. Fill in the Cost and Prices of the product.
7. Add mandatory information in the Inventory section, such as the Vendor, Store, and Location. You can also customize any additional fields based on your specific business needs.
8. Once you have filled in all the necessary information for the item, click on the Save button to create and save the new Inventory Item in Pavilion.
9. If you want to make any changes or updates to the inventory item in the future, you can return to it at any time and update the details. To do so, simply edit the data in the corresponding fields. A panel will prompt you to save the changes before exiting the page.
10. Click on the Save button to save the changes.
Deep Dive into Inventory Items
Inventory Item record consists of the following tabs:
General tab
Pavilion's Inventory Item meticulously captures the various details of each unique product within the system. These comprehensive sections allow for precise management and accurate representation of inventory items. Here's a breakdown of each block:
General section
The General section presents a snapshot of the inventory item, including a product preview, category, pricing model, description, and internal notes.

Category | Categories classify Inventory Items based on their type or characteristics, aiding in organization for better inventory management.

Pricing model | Determines the pricing model of Inventory Item. Pricing model is automatically selected based on your category selection, but in some cases you can change it. See Pricing Models |
Title | Short (up to 100 characters) and concise description of the item. |
Description | Description provides additional details and information about the Inventory Item. It describes the item's features, specifications, uses, or any other relevant information that helps users understand the item better. |
Internal Note | Field used to capture internal or private notes, comments, or remarks about the inventory item. It allows users to add internal reminders, instructions, or any other relevant notes for internal reference. |
Certificate section (for diamonds and diamond items categories)
Under the Certificate section, you can add your item's stone certificate details.
ā ļøPavilion limits you to adding one main certificate to an item by default. This certificate is used to fetch attribute data and simplify website synchronization. However, you can add as many stones with individual certificates as necessary under the Components tab.

Attributes section
In the Attributes section, you can add specific characteristics of the inventory item, such as Style, Size, Weight, Gender and others. List of available Attributes is determined by the selected Category.
Prices & Costs section
Your item cost and pricing information is defined in this section. Available fields depend on the selected pricing model and category.

Cost | The Cost field represents the amount spent or associated cost of acquiring the inventory item. |
Price Markup | The Price Markup represents the amount added to the cost price to determine the price of the Inventory Item. |
Price | The Price field shows the selling price of individual unit of the Inventory Item. |
Inventory section
Include additional inventory-specific details such as Stock Status, Store or Location information, and Available Quantity.

Field | Definition |
SKU | SKU stands for Stock Keeping Unit and is a unique identifier assigned to the inventory item. It serves as a reference code for tracking and managing the item within the inventory. |
Vendor | Represents the supplier from which the inventory item was obtained. It identifies the company or entity responsible for providing the item. |
Vendor SKU | The vendor SKU field refers to the stock keeping unit or product code assigned by the vendor to the inventory item. |
Document | The document field is used to attach number of related document purchase. |
Stock Status | The stock status field indicates the current status of the Inventory Item, such as "In Stock," "Out of Stock," or "On Backorderā. |
Store | The store field specifies the physical store where the Inventory Item is located or assigned to. |
Location | The Location field specifies the physical location where the Inventory Item is located or assigned to. |
Extras section
Store and display additional data such as the Internal ID and unique identifiers related to the inventory item.

GTIN | Used to identify trade items and products throughout the supply chain. |
GCUID | It is a unique identifier assigned to each record or object in a global catalog.The GCUID ensures that each record or object has a distinct identification within the catalog, enabling efficient and accurate referencing and retrieval of information. |
ASIN | ASIN stands for Amazon Standard Identification Number. It is a unique identifier assigned by Amazon to products listed on its platform. ASINs are used to track and identify specific products within the Amazon marketplace. |
EAN | EAN stands for European Article Number, which is a barcode standard primarily used in Europe and other regions. It is an internationally recognized identifier for products, particularly in the retail industry. |
Gallery section
Manage and showcase media files such as images and videos to provide visual representations of the inventory item.

Activity tab
The Activity tab displays adjustments associated with the current Inventory Item, such as purchases, sales, and other related actions. The Activity tab has the following sections:
History section
The History section offers a comprehensive view of changes made to the item over time. Within this section, you can see the date, specific action taken (edit, creation, etc.), and the name of the user who made the change. The history section allows you to filter by User, Field, and changed values.
Inventory Balances Section
The Inventory Balances section provides a detailed account of all adjustments made to the Inventory Item over time. This section highlights any changes in quantity, stock levels, or other relevant attributes associated with the item. Within the Adjustments section, you can view the specific details of each adjustment, including the adjustment type, date, vendor, quantity, price, etc.

Online tab
This feature provides settings for synchronizing your inventory items across different websites and platforms. This allows you to manage and update inventory information effortlessly across all your online sales channels. Additionally, you have the flexibility to override e-commerce categories directly within this feature.
