This guide explains how to move inventory items between stores using Pavilion ERP. The process uses two connected document types in the Purchases tab: Transfer and Transfer Receipt. These help manage inventory transfers efficiently, saving you time by avoiding manual adjustments to each item.
Overview of Transfer Document Types

Creating a Transfer Document
Follow these steps to start a process of moving Inventory Items:

To create a new Transfer document, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Pavilion B2B app and open the Purchases tab.
Click the New button in the top right corner.
Select the Transfer record type and click Next.
Select the appropriate Source Store.
Select the Receiving Store.
Fill in all required fields.
Click Save to create the document.
Adding Document Line Items
To add line items to a Purchase document, follow these steps:
Create a transfer document (if not already created).
In the Document Line Items section, click the Add button.
Click on the Inventory Item field.
Select an existing inventory item from the list.
Once added, you can edit your items. Additionally, you can easily remove the item by clicking the delete icon.
ā ļø Only items marked as in Stock are available for adding.
Moving Inventory Items between Stores in a Transfer Document
To move inventory items from one store to another, follow these steps:
Create a Transfer Document.
Add the required inventory items to the Purchase Document.
Click the Post button and confirm the action.
Click the Receive button.
Select the items you want to receive from the list.
Click Next.
Choose one of the following to proceed:
Select Create New to generate a new Transfer Receipt.
Select Pick Existing to add the items to an existing Transfer Receipt.
Click the Receive button. You will be redirected to the corresponding Transfer Receipt record.
On the Transfer Receipt record, click the Post button and confirm the action to finalize the receipt.
