How do I add tasks under job services?

Add internal service tasks, SKUs, sizing, and quantities.

Job services can include internal tasks that help your team price, track, and complete the work. Tasks can be added with a SKU or with a manual description.

Tasks are used internally and are not shown to customers.

Add a service task

  1. Open the Job record.

  2. Click Add Service.

  3. Select the appropriate job type, such as Custom Job, Appraisal, Cleaning, Engraving, or Repair.

  4. Click Next.

  5. To add a task under the service, click +Task.

  6. In the SKU field, enter the SKU if you know it.

  7. Click Find.

  8. Review the task details that Pavilion pulls in from the SKU.

  9. Click Save to add the task to the service line item.

Find a SKU

If you do not know the SKU, you can search for it before adding the task.

You can add multiple tasks under the same service line item by clicking +Task again. Each task can have its own SKU, sizing, quantity, cost, and price. The service line item total updates based on the combined value of all tasks.

Some SKUs include sizing options. If the SKU has sizing options, Pavilion displays Old Size and New Size fields after you find the SKU.

Add quantity for a SKU without sizing

If the SKU does not use sizing, Pavilion displays a Quantity field instead.

  2. Enter the quantity in the Quantity field.

  3. Review the calculated pricing.

  4. Click Save.
