Pavilion user profiles control what each user can see and do in Pavilion. Use this guide to understand the standard profiles and decide which profile fits each user’s role.

Admin profile

The Admin profile is for store owners, general managers, and senior staff who need full system access.

Admins can:

  • View costs, profit margins, reports, and analytics

  • Adjust customer account balances

  • Sell items below minimum price when needed

  • Add, edit, and delete inventory items

  • Manage inventory adjustments

  • Access bulk inventory management tools

  • Edit orders after they are closed

  • Cancel orders

  • Process returns for expired sales

  • Void receipts and closed order receipts

  • Handle e-commerce refunds

  • Change which staff member is assigned to an order

  • Merge duplicate customer or vendor records

  • Manage customer and vendor information

  • Manage users and permissions

  • Access import and export tools

  • Control system synchronization settings

  • Modify system settings

Manager profile

The Manager profile is for department managers, assistant managers, and senior sales staff who need operational control but do not need full system administration access.

Managers can:

  • Modify pricing and costs
