ℹ️Note: Already filled values for attributes remain filled after you setting up default values for attributes.
Default attribute values automatically populate selected attribute fields for items in a category. Existing attribute values are not overwritten when a new default value is added.
Set a default value for an attribute
Open Pavilion Settings.
Click the Categories tab.
Select the category you want to update.
Locate the attribute you want to add a default value for.
Click the dropdown icon next to the attribute.
Select Edit.
In the Default Value field, select the value you want to use as the default.
Click Save.
After the default value is saved, Pavilion uses it for new records in that category when the attribute value has not already been filled in.
