How do I manage attributes in Pavilion Settings?

Learn how to create, edit, and delete attributes in Pavilion Settings.

ℹ️ Note: If you don’t see Pavilion Settings in the App Manager, please contact your administrator.

Attributes define additional product or inventory details used in Pavilion. Depending on your configuration, attributes may also sync to e-commerce or external systems.

Understand attribute fields

Common attribute fields include:

Field

Explanation

Type

The type of input field used for the attribute.

Label

The user-facing attribute name.

Name

The unique name used for integrations or system purposes.

Is Virtual

Hides the attribute from the inventory page while allowing it to sync to e-commerce targets.

Don`t Clean Up

Prevents the attribute value from being cleared when the category changes.

Unit of Measure

Unit used for number or number range attributes.

Export Column Header

Header used for CSV sync or attribute slug for WooCommerce.

Sync Format

Formats the attribute value before synchronization.

Rapaport Field Name

Stores price information sourced from the Rapaport Price List.

Website label

Attribute label used for e-commerce synchronization.

Sync Enabled

Allows the attribute to synchronize.

Sync Picklists Labels

Uses value set labels instead of system names when syncing picklist values.

WooCommerce Visibility

Controls whether the attribute is visible on a product page.

Field Name

Defines a custom attribute for its object.

Field Max Value

Maximum allowed value for number attributes.

Field Min Value

Minimum allowed value for number attributes.

Field GIA Attribute

Maps the GIA value to the correct Pavilion field.

Create a new attribute

  1. Click the App Launcher.

  2. Search for and select Pavilion Settings.

  3. Click the Attributes tab.

  4. Click Add New.

  5. Fill in the required fields.

  6. Add any optional settings needed for synchronization, category behavior, or field limits.

  7. Click Save.


Edit an existing attribute

  1. In Pavilion Settings, open the Attributes section.

  2. Locate the attribute you want to update.

  3. Click the dropdown icon next to the attribute.

  4. Select Edit.

  5. Update the desired fields.

  6. Click Save.


Delete an attribute

  1. In Pavilion Settings, open the Attributes section.

  2. Locate the attribute you want to remove.

  3. Click the dropdown icon next to the attribute.

  4. Select Delete.

  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

⚠️ Deleting an Attribute will affect categories and products that are associated with it. This action is irreversible.
