Bulk certificate updates let you apply GIA or IGI certificate data across multiple inventory records without editing each item individually. This is useful after importing inventory, cleaning up certificate data, or filling in missing diamond attributes across many records.
ℹ️ Access to Sync Management depends on user permissions. If you do not see this option, contact your system administrator.
Run a certificate sync update
Open the App Launcher.
Search for and open Sync Management.
Go to the Sync Jobs tab (1).
Click Run Now (2).
In the Target field, select the certificate type you want to update:
GIA
IGI
In the Job field, select the matching job:
Populate GIA Attributes for GIA certificates
Populate IGI Attributes for IGI certificates
In the Options section, choose how Pavilion should apply the certificate data.
If no options are selected, Pavilion only updates items that have empty certificate attribute fields.
If Create Gallery Items is selected, Pavilion updates empty certificate attributes and adds certificate images to items that do not already have images.
If Overwrite Attributes is selected, Pavilion updates matching items even if those items already have certificate attribute data.
Click Run Now.
Once the process is complete, the job status changes to Completed in the Sync Jobs list.
What to check after the update
After the job is complete, spot-check a few updated inventory records to confirm the certificate attributes were applied correctly.
Review:
Diamond attributes
Certificate information
Gallery images, if Create Gallery Items was selected
Any items that already had existing certificate data, if Overwrite Attributes was selected
