How do I upload products to RapNet?

Learn how to upload diamond and jewelry products from Pavilion to RapNet and troubleshoot common product sync issues.

Diamond products must use the Diamond - Loose inventory category. Jewelry products include any inventory category other than Diamond - Loose.

Troubleshoot RapNet sync issues

Why don’t I see my diamond product on RapNet?

If a diamond product is not appearing on RapNet, check the following:

  • Required attributes are missing. Make sure all required diamond fields are filled in, such as Rapaport price, color, and clarity.

  • The product was copied. Copied diamond products are not uploaded. Update the stock number on the original product instead.

  • No unique data changed. RapNet only updates existing products when non-unique product data is changed. Make sure fields such as shape, color, clarity, or another product detail were updated.

  • The product type does not match. Confirm that the inventory category is set up with the correct inventory type in Pavilion settings.

Why isn’t an image added to my synced product on RapNet?

If the product image is missing on RapNet, check the following:

  • Image resolution is too low. Images must be at least 1280 pixels.

  • The file format is not supported. Confirm that the image uses an accepted file format.

  • Image upload was skipped. If Skip Images was selected during the sync, run the sync again with image upload enabled.
