Troubleshooting Sync Issues

Why don't I see my synced diamond product on RapNet?

If your diamond product is not appearing on RapNet, check the following:

  • Missing required attributes: Ensure all mandatory fields (e.g., Rapaport Price, Color, Clarity) are filled.

  • Product was copied: Copied diamond products are not uploaded. Update the stock number for the original product instead.

  • No unique data changes: RapNet only updates existing products if non-unique data is modified. Ensure key attributes (Shape, Color, Clarity, etc.) were changed.

  • Product type mismatch: Verify that the Inventory Type is specified for your product category in Pavilion Settings. Refer to How to Assign Inventory Type to a Category for Sync to RapNet for guidance.

Why isn’t an image added to my synced product on RapNet?

If the product image is missing, check for these possible issues:

  • Image resolution is too low: Images must be at least 1280 pixels in size.

  • File format restrictions: Ensure the image is in the correct file format.

  • Image upload was skipped: If image sync was disabled during the upload sync job, enable it and re-sync.
