Using List Emails in Pavilion

Learn how to use Pavilion’s List Emails to send messages to multiple customers, manage templates, apply letterheads, and prepare recipient lists for efficient bulk communication.

The List Emails feature allows you to send personalized messages to multiple recipients at once directly from Pavilion’s environment. This tool is ideal for sending updates, promotions, or announcements to groups of customers based on any defined list view.

💡 If you do not see the List Emails tab in your Pavilion account, please contact Pavilion Support so the feature can be activated for your organization.

Accessing List Emails and Related Features

All email-related features in Pavilion, including List Emails, Email Templates, and Enhanced Letterheads, can be accessed through the App Launcher.
Click the App Launcher icon in the top-left corner and search for the desired feature name. Once found, select it from the results to open the corresponding section.

Email Templates

The Email Templates section stores reusable email drafts that can be used for List Emails or individual messages.

Each template can include your company logo, message content, and personalized fields (for example, customer name or customer balance).

Pavilion provides pre-made templates that can be adjusted for your store’s needs. You can edit these or create new ones from the Email Templates tab by clicking New Email Template.

Each template can be connected to an Enhanced Letterhead, which applies your standard email header and footer automatically for consistent branding across all messages.

Enhanced Letterheads

The Enhanced Letterheads section allows you to apply a unified header and footer design to your email templates.

Letterheads typically include your logo, contact information, and an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

The Default Pavilion letterhead is already available in your account and is recommended for all outgoing messages.

Using List Emails

All List Emails are based on Customer List Views.

This means that when sending a message, you select which list view (for example, All Customers or New This Week) should receive it.

Any filters applied to that list view will determine who receives the email.

💡 You can also create your own custom List Views to target specific groups of customers. For more information, see our Help Center article Working with List Views.

When composing a List Email, you can select one of your existing templates, review the subject and body, and send it to all customers in the chosen list view.

List Emails can also be started directly from the Customers tab by selecting records and using the Send Email button.

This method allows quick communication with selected customers without leaving the customer view.

Deliverability Requirements

Before sending your first message, your domain must be configured with SPF and DKIM records to authenticate Pavilion as a sender on your behalf.

This ensures that your emails reach recipients instead of being filtered as spam.

After setup, it can take up to 48 hours for the configuration to fully propagate.
If you need assistance verifying DKIM or SPF, please contact our Support Team.
