Appraisals let you document item details, values, images, and related inventory or job items for a customer.
You can create an appraisal from the Appraisals app, which is available from the App Launcher.
Create a new appraisal
Click the App Launcher icon.
Search for Appraisals.
Click Appraisals to open the app.
Click New.
Select the customer in the Customer field.
Optional: Select an appraiser in the Appraiser field.
Optional: Select a store in the Store field.
Click Save.
Add a new appraisal item
Use this option when the item is not already recorded in Pavilion inventory.
Open the appraisal record.
Click Add Item.
Enter the item name, description, value, and any other required details.
Click Save Changes.
Pull an inventory item into an appraisal
Use this option when the item already exists in inventory.
Open the appraisal record.
Click Pull Inventory.
Search for the inventory item.
Select the item from the list.
Click Add.
Click Save Changes.
Pull job items into an appraisal
Use this option when the appraisal should include items from an existing job.
Open the appraisal record.
Click Pull Job.
Search for the related job.
Select the job from the list.
Click Add.
Click Save Changes.
Understand pulling vs. adding items
There are two ways to add items to an appraisal:
Pulling items brings in existing inventory or job items that are already tracked in Pavilion.
Adding items lets you create a new appraisal item manually. This is useful when the item is not currently recorded in inventory.
Add images to an appraisal
Open the appraisal record.
In the Gallery section, click Add Image.
Upload a new image or select an existing image.
Save your changes.
Print an appraisal
Open the appraisal record.
Click Print.
Review the printable appraisal document.
Print or save the document as needed.
