How do I edit alt tags for inventory images?

Learn how to edit image alt tags from the Gallery section.

Alt tags help describe images used on inventory items and product groups. You can update an image’s alt tag directly from the Gallery section.

Edit an image alt tag

  1. Open the Inventory Item or Product Group record.

  2. Go to the Gallery section.

  3. Click the image you want to update.

  4. In the image preview window, click the pencil icon next to the current image title or alt tag.

  5. Enter the updated alt tag.

  6. Save the change.

  7. The image alt tag is updated.
