How do I manage product variations in a product group?

Manage product variation items, edit variation prices, remove items from a product group, and print tags for grouped inventory items.

Product variations are created automatically when inventory items are added to a product group. Each variation represents a unique combination of variation attributes, such as size, metal color, or length.

Before managing variations, review Product groups overview if you need to understand how product variations are created. If you need to create a group first, start with Creating a product group.

View product variations

  1. Open App Launcher.

  2. Search for Product Groups.

  3. Open the product group record.

  4. Find the Product Group Items section.

  5. Review the product variations and the inventory items listed under each variation. Each product variation can include one or more inventory items.

Print tags for product variation items

  2. Click Remove from Group.

  3. Confirm the removal. The selected inventory items will be removed from the product group. You can also use the dropdown next to an item and select Remove All Items to remove all items from that variation.

Edit product variation prices

    1. Wholesale

    2. Retail

    3. Online

    4. Sale
