Automated messages let you send predefined replies to customers in specific situations, such as when your store is closed or when terms and conditions need to be shared.
Understand automated message types
There are two automated message types in Pavilion:
Terms and Conditions: Sends your store’s required terms when needed.
Out of Business Hours: Sends an automatic reply when a customer contacts you outside business hours.
You can activate, customize, or replace these messages from Automated Messages in Pavilion Settings.
Create an automated message
Open Pavilion Settings.
Click the Automated Messages tab.
Click Add New.
Fill in the required fields:
Label: The internal name for the message.
Name: The system reference name.
Type: The automated message type.
Phone Number: The Pavilion Twilio number used to send the message.
Message Body: The text sent to the customer.
Optional: Select Is Active to enable the automated message.
Optional: Enter a Content Template SID if using a saved Twilio template.
Click Save.
